    New 1,500,000 Gallon Olney Composite Tank

    TIC provided professional tank inspection services related to the design and construction of the new composite water storage tank for WSSC. These services include erection observation during tank construction and resident painting observation. WSSC first awarded a 2-year master contract to Tank Industry Consultants in 2004. Since that time, TIC has fulfilled over 100 project contracts involving 32 of the Commission's tanks.

  • Leslie Scott, P.E. Joins TIC

    We are pleased to announce the hiring of Leslie Scott, P.E., as TIC's new Chief Engineer. Leslie is noted as one of the top storage tank engineers in the nation, and will be a tremendous asset to TIC. Leslie will work from his hometown of San Luis Obispo, California starting mid-May.

  • John Lieb, TIC's Chief Engineer, Retires

    After 43 years in the tank industry, 18 of which were with TIC, John Lieb retired from TIC effective January 12th. John and his wife, Cris, are looking forward to spending time with their grandchildren and taking on all those projects at home that there wasn't time for before. John will be greatly missed, but we wish him well in this next phase of his life.
